Materials:
1 large block of Paraffin
1 tapered candle-any color because it'll be in the middle of the you create
1 (1 quart) juice carton -empty and cleaned well
Iced
Newspaper
Directions:
Set up the carton on a table covered with newspapers. Set the tapered candle in the middle of the cleaned carton. As you are setting it add ice to within 1 inch of the top of the carton.
Melt the paraffin according to the package instructions. Pour safely into the carton filled with ice. Let stand, don't move or touch it for 5 minutes.
Using your sink or bowl, pour off the now melted ice from the carton. Make sure you have removed all of the water. Let the carton sit for about 1 hour.
Peel off the carton from the candle, by hand or with scissors, being careful not to cut into the candle.
You will be amazed at the beautiful lacy pattern and how stunning it looks when it is finally lit.
Always place a saucer or some kind of candle holder underneath it when it is lit.
For a spring or other holiday look, use color paraffin or you can color it after the paraffin is melted.
