SIXTEENTH CENTURY POTPOURRI MIX
- 1 pint peppermint leaves, cut
- 1 pint lavender flowers
- 1 tablespoon well-crushed caraway seeds
- 1 pint thyme
- 1 tablespoon crushed cloves and coriander
- 1 tablespoon crushed gum benzoin or orris root
Lightly mix together all of the ingredients. Put into
a potpourri jar with a few dried rose and marigold
petals on the top for colour.
